Calico, an 80-lot single family subdivision, is located within the Town of Morehead City. The Cullipher Group provided property annexation, rezoning and site planning through close coordination with the Town of Morehead City’s Planning Department. Being annexed into the Town provided the ability to extend public water and sewer, both designed by our firm. The onsite sewage lift station is designed for future developments and/or annexations of adjacent properties. The driveway application and review by NCDOT prompted the widening of N. 20th Street to include a center turn lane into the subdivision.

The Cullipher Group has continually worked with The Coastal Yacht Hanger, LLC as engineering experts to develop marketing plans demonstrating the vision of their marina project. The 660 foot long hangar building will have an automated crane delivery system that deposits and retrieves boats up to 55 feet in length to and from the water. Furthering the unique quality of this development is the acquisition of a variance approval from the State’s Coastal Resource Commission allowing the marina to extend one-third of the channels width and construction of 14’ wide boardwalks over coastal wetlands providing two-way golf cart traffic. Once completed, this development will be an exclusive and iconic marina for Carteret County, the State of North Carolina and the East Coast of the United States.
